• Once you're in you should see something similar to the screenshots below.

For website status

  • Click on "Internet Access" on the left it will bring up "Default Rules" and "Video Rules" below it.
  • ,Clicking on default rules will bring up the first screenshot below and you can put the link in question in the bar next to the blue box that says check.
  • Click the "Check" box and then you should get a response with a green circle with a check in it or a red circle with a line through it below your search.
  • The only one that you will be interested in is the circle on the far left being green and saying "default: Allowed". If that is the case your students automatically have access to the link. If it is red then you can send an email and I can get it unblocked for you. The "Rules" screenshot shows a webpage that is already allowed for students.

For Youtube video or channel status

  • Click "Video Rules" on the left. This will bring up the youtube rules as shown in the second screenshot
  • This process is essentially the same as the internet rules:
  • Put the link to a video to see the status of an individual video or the link to a youtube channel in the box
  • click the blue "Check" box
  • look for the green or red circle on the far left in the results underneath.
  • The Video rules screenshot below shows a video that is blocked for students and will need tech to unblock it.

The Only Circles you will need to worry about are the ones under "Default". This is the rule that student devices use while in school.
